I Bought A New Gun Belt – Old Machine Craft Advanced AIWB Belt

Maybe two weeks ago, I ordered another gun belt.

I saw the business owner on Reddit posting about his belt and it looked intriguing, so I went to his product page to check it out. I decided to order but he was sold out, so I asked to be notified when the product was restocked.

When I got the notification, I almost let it sit (was busy with something) but decided to go ahead and order it – I’m glad I did, because it quickly sold out again.

The product is here. He has 1.5″ and 1.75″ belts. I ordered the 1.5″ in black.

I received the belt yesterday.

I don’t usually hype up gun equipment, but wh0ooo WEEE, this belt is fire.

It prevents keeling and keeps the gun tight to your body. It is a bit involved to buckle, but it will not loosen or move. Plus, if I’ve to use the restroom, I can loosen the belt and just drop the pants – no real deconstruction needed. I can unholster and reholster unimpeded.

I thought my last belt was good (a Wolf Tactical Heavy Duty Simple EDC), but this one works better, with less effort. The Wolf belt has no buckle (it’s basically just a stiff velcro belt), so it is simpler and cheaper, but it looks simpler and cheaper, as well. Between the two belts, the OMC belt tucks my 2011 into my body far better than the Wolf belt. I’ve also been wearing it all day (I work from home) and it’s not been uncomfortable.

I’ll post up to share my experience over the next few months.
