I wanted to provide a quick status of my YouTube channel.
I’ve locked down the channel, mainly to avoid further warnings/strikes while I’m in the probationary period. I’d shared in July that the channel received a warning for a video that was NOT in violation of YouTube’s terms of service.
The channel’s traffic took a drastic hit. The channel’s views are quite a bit lower than before I age-limited the videos.
Why did I do this? My research suggested age-limiting to prevent further scrutiny.
This is concerning and is probably within the current Google playbook to limit firearms advocacy.
I can not fight this. I’m using Rumble but Rumble has a pitiful viewership when compared to YouTube.
I’m wondering if I should just quit. Or, maybe create a new channel, specifically just for firearms. If I create another channel, the non-firearms channel won’t get shut down if the firearms channel does.
